Sony Ericsson XPERIA

Manufacturers and carriers are showing commendable restraint in avoiding totally bastardized, walled-garden versions of Android on their handsets (for the most part), but they're not avoiding it altogether -- take Sony Ericsson here, for instance. The company has announced that it's expanding the reach of its PlayNow app store to cover Android in concert with its launch of the X10, which presumably means that users will be juggling a minimum of two sources for third-party wares on this thing. Long-term, this kind of needless fragmentation seems like one of the greatest threats to Android's ability to become and remain a heavyweight player in the smartphone ring -- but then again, what do we know? It's not like these guys haven't already figured out how to dominate before with UIQ... ah, wait. Anyhoo, yeah, back to the topic at hand: devs are now invited to submit their Android apps for inclusion in the PlayNow store, so hey, you may as well -- the phone's looking to be a hottie, so it can't hurt to have your stuff featured on there, we figure.

Motorola CLIQ

Motorola CLIQ is the newest Android phone. It is made by Motorola and will be available on the T-Mobile network. Some of the key features include 3G/HSDPA connectivity, 5MP camera, and of course GPS receiver. It just wouldn’t be complete without the GPS – so you can Google Maps, Street View and bunch of location aware apps from the Android market place.

Motorola CLIQ will come with a 3.1″ screen, have a 1420mAh battery, WiFi, and bluetooth. A few other nice specs include the accelerometer and proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and the microSD card support up to 32GB.

Did we mention it has a Qwerty keyboard? That’s a must for a lot of people. And it has a glass screen – much better than most other Android phones.

TripleWatch

Though the idea of a cellphone watch is not so new, the TripleWatch designed by Manon Maneenawa has an interesting triple flip technique that allows the user to transform the watch into a normal cellphone. When used as a wrist watch, the phone has a speaker button that allows the user to answer the phone and hang up while driving.

NEC Tag

Somehow similar to the Snaked concept, the NEC Tag is a flexible phone concept that can be , for example, hung from a belt or wrapped around the user’s arm. Interesting is that the phone has shape-memorizing material and sensors that allows the phone to change its shape according to the mode.

S5150

It is reported that these two Diva series phones will be first on sale in the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and other European countries in January 2010,then it will be available for sale in China and Southeast Asia. Samsung mobile phone has always been very popular, such as the Corby family is now being hot is a good proof of this. Motorola A1200

I bought this last year. My only extravagant purchase for myself last year. Bought it when it was a heck of a lot more than $200.00. I loved this phone at the beginning. It was sleek, stylish, the features are cool. It's a Motorola Ming A1200, Cingular/AT&T phone. It has an MP3 player, video cam features, camera features, AM/FM radio feature, and all the standard stuff. The thing that reeled me in was the touchscreen and the stylus made it look like a PDA. Far from it by the way. As with all other things, you get over it. Now the touchscreen feature that reeled me in, irritates me. Not a good phone to text with.

Apple iPhone

Internet service. And it lets you select and listen to voicemail messages in whatever order you want — just like email.

iPhone is a widescreen iPod with touch controls that lets you enjoy your content — including music, audiobooks, videos, TV shows, and movies — on a beautiful 3.5-inch widescreen display. It also lets you sync your content from the iTunes library on your PC or Mac. And then you can access it all with just the touch of a finger.

Scroll through your songs, artists, albums, and playlists with just a flick of a finger. Album artwork is dramatically presented on the large display. And now use Cover Flow to browse your music library by album artwork for the first time on an iPod.

iPhone features a rich HTML email client and Safari — the most advanced web browser ever on a portable device — which automatically syncs bookmarks from your PC or Mac. Safari also includes built-in Google and Yahoo! search. iPhone is fully multi-tasking, so you can read a web page while downloading your email in the background over Wi-Fi or EDGE.

Apple claim the iPhone features the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse. It’s an entirely new interface based on a large multi-touch display and innovative new software that lets you control everything using only your fingers. So you can glide through albums with Cover Flow, flip through photos and email them with a touch, or zoom in and out on a section of a web page — all by simply using iPhone’s multi-touch display.

iPhone’s full QWERTY soft keyboard lets you easily send and receive SMS messages in multiple sessions. And the keyboard is predictive, so it prevents and corrects mistakes, making it easier and more efficient to use than the small plastic keyboards on many smartphones.

The iPhone is sure to please fans of the iPod and many people have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the IPhone. Unfortunately the IPhone is not the latest technology and nor does it set any great leaps in mobile technology. Many of the features of the IPhone have been available in other cell phones for ages and it really is outdated before it was released but the hype and expected large masses of people made to believe this phone is something special when it is nothing significant at all is really quite ridiculous.
