IPod Classic

IPod Classic (120 GB) is considered to be the most sexiest iPod. This is a very decent product. Available in a 120 GB model that holds up to 30,000 songs, 150 hours of video, 25,000 photos, or any combination, the new iPod classic fills your pocket with sight and sound. Apple’s only remaining hard disk-based iPod, boasting family-leading storage capacity and battery performance at reasonable pricing. Available in silver or black versions, each with full support for music, video, photo, and game playback.

With 120 GB of space, iPod classic means you can always have your entire music and movie library with you. The interface is really awesome Also contributing to its classiness is the ‘click-wheel’ that is still seen in the player. Now the click-wheel reminds us of the occasional non-responsiveness we experienced with it. A newly added feature to the iPod is Genius, which you need to activate via iTunes. Genius is a feature that groups like songs that would go well together, kind of DJing. You can create a playlist of 25 such songs, however, consider yourself to be lucky and someone with a good collection if the Genius doesn’t show you the message “The Genius feature is unavailable for this song”.

Despite large hard drives and batteries, outdated 2.5” screen and interface continue to fall behind Apple’s best devices in ease-of-use and quality of overall media playback experience, forcing users to pick between great screens or the hard disks necessary to carry lots of video around. The audio output is satisfying enough, with the frequency response of 20Hz to 20,000Hz.Battery life for this new 120 GB model improved over the 80GB model from last year.
Most talk about getting good sound from an iPod is almost entirely focused on headphones, usually fairly pricey ones. But, to use a high-end audio mantra, you only get out what you put in. Another fantastic thing with Ipod is that it plays standard formats without having to pay extra for 'plug-ins'. All songs on Itunes come in AAC format and video in m4v but Ipod also supports MP3 and MP4 and a variety of other formats right out of the box. About playing videos, movies, etc. the screen is a little small in my opinion for watching a full length movie but for watching music videos it's awesome. The screen is crystal clear. The video quality of iPod Classic is remarkable; ditto with its capability of delivering video on TV with the Apple’s AV cable.
It’s a great device! Enjoy!
