BlackBerry Curve 9320 |
The BlackBerry Curve 9320 looks very similar to earlier Curve smartphones, as it has a 2.44-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixel) display situated above a QWERTY keyboard. The new hardware feature is a dedicated button on the left side of the device that launches RIM's BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) app for quick access to messaging services. RIM says this button makes it "incredibly easy for users to stay socially-connected."
Other specs include a 3.2 megapixel EDoF fixed-focus camera with LED flash and video recording capabilities,
a 1450mAh battery with a 7 hour expected talk time or 18 days of standby, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi support, and 512MB of internal storage. The Curve 9320 measures 109mm x 60mm x 12.7mm (4.29in x 2.36in x 0.5in) and weighs 103g (3.63oz).
The latest Curve smartphone also comes with BlackBerry 7.1 OS installed out of the box and support for Wi-Fi calling and mobile hotspot features. RIM has not yet announced pricing or availability for the new phone, but both T-Mobile UK and Three UK have announced that they will be ranging the phone for both prepaid and postpaid plans.
