LG \Optimus LTE2 with 2GB of RAM

LG Optimus LTE2
The world may be swept up with the news of the Samsung Galaxy S III right now, but LG has something new up its sleeve as well. The Korean manufacturer has unveiled the new Optimus LTE2, a successor to the Optimus LTE released last year.
The new Optimus LTE2 features LG's TrueHD IPS display, which offers 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution and an RGB(INFO) sub-pixel layout. It also features 2GB of RAM, a first for smartphones, but LG was mum on the processor inside. The LTE2 has a 2150mAh battery that LG claims will offer 40 percent better battery life than the original Optimus LTE (which, from our experience, was quite bad in the battery life department), and it supports WPC wireless charging with an accessory dock.

The LTE2 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with LG's custom user interface and it is expected to be available in South Korea this month. A global roll-out has yet to be announced.
