Though we got a peek at it a few weeks ago when Verizon Wireless inadvertently put it on the DROID DOES website, Verizon has now officially announced the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE. The DROID Incredible 4G LTE is the first LTE(INFO) smartphone in the Incredible line, and it borrows a lot, but not all, of the features of the HTC One S.
Sporting a 4-inch, qHD (540 x 960 pixel) Super LCD display, the DROID Incredible 4G LTE features the signature beveled backside that the Incredible and Incredible 2 also had. Under the hood, the Incredible 4G is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, but it also has a microSD card slot that support cards up to 32GB in capacity for further expansion.

There is an 8 megapixel camera with a 28mm, f/2.2 lens and backside illuminated sensor on the back of the phone, while a VGA camera resides up front. Beats Audio is also built into the Incredible 4G LTE for thumping bass. The DROID Incredible 4G has a 1700mAh removable battery, and it measures 122mm x 61mm x 11.7mm (4.8in x 2.4in x 0.46in) and weighs 132g (4.66oz). The phone also features built-in NFC(INFO) support.
The HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC's Sense 4.0 user interface on top. Verizon says that it will release the phone in the coming weeks, but it did not say what the price would be.
